School Project
The heart of the journey was the visit to a remote mountain school and the connection with its students and community.
The group joined classroom activities, supported learning moments and exchanged ideas with local students.
Sports, games and informal activities helped create connection even when language was limited.
Donated toys and materials were shared with the children and became a meaningful moment during the visit.
Students learned how access to education can be difficult in remote mountain regions.
Memories
Selected moments from Kathmandu, the road, the trek and the school visit.
Reflections
Short reflections about learning, challenge and connection during the trip.
“I realized that going to school every day is not normal for everyone. Some children have to live far away from home just to receive an education.”
Student reflection“The trekking days were hard, but we learned to support each other and continue as one group.”
Student reflection“Even without speaking the same language, we connected through games, smiles and shared activities.”
Student reflectionPeople & Places
Nepal is shaped by traditions, festivals, food, heritage and everyday rituals that made the journey more meaningful.
Dal bhat, momos and local meals were part of the daily experience and showed how food connects people.
Kathmandu, villages, mountain paths and school communities gave different impressions of Nepalese life.
Respectful greetings, modest behavior and awareness of local customs were important throughout the journey.
